Buy a Flag, Try a Cooking Class

Wednesday's happenings in and around Huntington

There's still time to purchase a flag in the "Field of Honor" on the lawn in front of Town Hall. The flags will fly for the month of November to honor past and present members of our country's armed forces. Residents are invited to pledge a $35 contribution to purchase a flag, which will have a personalized dedication custom printed on a yellow ribbon. The flags will remain on display until Nov. 30, and once removed, they will be made available as a personal memento to the residents who purchased them. For more information or to sponsor a flag, call the Kiwanis Club of Huntington at (631) 559-9171.
