Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach Set for Memorial Day Weekend

The Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach returns this year with an all-star lineup for Memorial Day weekend, May 24-25.

The roster for the 11th annual airshow includes military and civilian performers alike, including those from Farmingdale’s American Airpower Museum.

As many as 400,000 spectators have attended the show at Jones Beach. The 2013 show, however, drew fewer than 100,000 because of cancelations caused by federal budget cuts and poor weather.

This year, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels return as a featured attraction of the show. Look too for the P-47 Thunderbolt, one of the vintage aircraft participating from the Airpower Museum.
