Electric Cars Drive Plug-In Day
Vehicles will be on display in Melville and available for test drives.
Electric cars will be available for test drives Saturday as local organizations join in National Plug-In Day activities.
Local organizers say the show is set for the Melville Mall, 834 Walt Whitman Road, Melville, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Events are planned in more than 90 cities around the country, including Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C.
Long Island Plug-in Day is supported nationally by the Sierra Club, Plug In America, and the Electric Auto Association as part of the national campaign.
Vehicles, vendors and displays are all on the schedule. Anyone wanting to add their electric or plug-in car to the show should first register.
