Live TV For St. Anthony's Football Opener

The football team will open its season on live TV. MSG Varsity will cover the Sept. 9 home opener, school Athletic Director announced. 

The Friars, who went , are the defending . They face Pennsylvania football power State College at 7 p.m. in South Huntington.

When the teams met a year ago, St. Anthony’s rallied to , 28-17, on the road.

St. Anthony's opens the 2011 season riding a 19-game winning streak. The Friars have won 10 or more games in 10 of the last 11 seasons. They've gone 112-10 and won nine CHSFL titles during that span.
