Huntington Council Members Congratulate HHH Softball Champs
Opening ceremonies took place at Otsego Park.
Huntington Town Council Members Mark Cuthbertson, Susan A. Berland and Tracey A. Edwards joined in congratulating the champion Half Hollow Hills Little League’s Lady Hawks at the league’s opening ceremonies at Otsego Park on Saturday, April 5.
Last year, the Lady Hawks won the District 34 Williamsport Tournament in the 12 and under girls’ softball division. The Lady Hawks were coached by Steve Rivera, who joined several of the team members in receiving the accolades and words of encouragement from the Council.
The Council members also wished all of the league’s players and coaches good luck for a successful season.
