There will be a leisurely but hilly 5-mile saunter through Caumsett State Historic Park that will give hikers an overview of nature in the field, forest, seashore and pond. Bring lunch and drinking water.
The sampler hike runs from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10.

It is part of the park's Adult Adventures series for those age 18 and older. Reservations are required. If you are unable to keep your reservation, call and cancel so others may have the opportunity to attend.
The cost is $4 per adult. In addition, vehicle use fees are due upon arrival during the fee collections season.
