Bratton Bros. Headline the 'Big City Classic' Today
UVA will face University of North Carolina.
The brand New Meadowlands Stadium (that is the what they are calling it until they get a naming sponsor) will be host the Big City Classic this weekend featuring six top-rated lacrosse teams. The game also serves as a so-called 'soft opening' for the new home of the Giants and the Jets before the NFL season begins this summer.
CAA rivals Delaware and Hofstra universities will kick things off at 1 p.m., followed by what could be the best game all year: #1 UVA (9-0) vs #3 UNC (9-0), featuring Huntington's own Shamel and Rhamel Bratton.
The third game is Syracuse vs. Princeton at 6 p.m.
