Huntington and South Huntington schools will not open Wednesday because of the snowstorm, the school district announced Tuesday evening.
Snowfall is expected to continue into the early morning, leading to concerns about safe travel on uncleared roads.
St. Anthony's High School will also be closed Wednesday. The regional high school also postponed an open house for new students, from Wednesday to Jan. 29.
