The Walt Whitman Jazz Band and The Dance Company of Whitman will perform at a spring concert at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, in the PAC at the high school.
The Jazz Band will open the show and also will accompany the dancers with an arrangement of John Coltraine's "Favorite Things."
The Dance Company will perform pieces about Friendship, Lady Macbeth, Body Image, the poet Walt Whitman, the phenomenon of texting, contemporary ballet, and Lady Gaga.
