Huntington Chamber’s ‘Green’ Committee Presents
 ‘Putting the Green in Greenlawn: BAE Sustainability Success Story’

 The Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce “Green” Committee will host “Putting the Green in Greenlawn: BAE Sustainability Success Story,” an informative and enlightening seminar which will take place on Wednesday, March 14 from 8 – 10 a.m. at BAE Systems, located at 450 Pulaski Road in Greenlawn.

This program will offer those in attendance a detailed introduction to BAE Systems and information on various sustainability and “green” programs. It will also provide tips on lowering your operating expenses through the “Utility Cost Take Out Process,” building energy management systems, using computer controls to lower utility consumption and save money, and how to decrease the environmental impact of your business by using Energy Star to evaluate buildings and lower carbon emissions.

“The information presented during this informative seminar should provide our Chamber members with a sneak peek into BAE Systems and how to make your business more sustainable,” said Robert Bontempi, Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce Chairman. “It will also provide a different and clearly greener perspective on how to run your businesses.”

This workshop is free for Chamber members and $10 for non-members. Due to high security, all attendees must RSVP with your name, company and citizenship for clearance into the building.  A visitor’s pass will be waiting for you upon arrival.
