Town Planning Board Agenda: July 27
DeForest Williams Estate development plan on the agenda.
A town planning board meeting and capital budget hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
At the meeting, a status report is expected on the DeForest Williams Estate, located on the northeast side of South Shore Road and bordered by Spring Hill Road and Mowbray Lane in Cold Spring Harbor.
Current property owners plan to subdivide the 42-acre estate and construct residential homes on the property. A group of neighboring residents testified July 12 to the Huntington Town Board in favor of preservation of the land.
