New Communication System Launched at Town Hall

A new citizen request management system is now operational at .

Huntington @ Your Service, made live March 1, will apparently make it easier for residents to get information from Town Hall and file requests for action both online and through smart phones, according to town officials. 

Town officials released a video hosted by Supervisor Frank Petrone detailing how to use the system through the town’s website. Another, narrated by Councilman Mark Cuthbertson, explains smart phone app operations.

The new system will provide an opportunity for residents to more efficiently identify areas of concern to town departments, according to Petrone.

, Petrone told Patch that Connecticut-based QScend Technologies of Waterbury was awarded a two-year, $16,000 contract to implement the program.

Training sessions have been held during the past few weeks to help town employees practice with the system and work out any flaws.
