Plowing, sanding and sunshine are clearing many streets in Huntington of the snow and ice left by the weekend blizzard.
A short tour Tuesday at midday showed that many streets that were extremely difficult to navigate on Monday are now clear or nearly clear.
But not all streets are in good shape; many have large ruts and packed snow. Some have barely one lane for passing cars.
