Stern Reappointed as Vets' Panel Chairman
Huntington Democrat is back for eighth term in role.
Suffolk Legislature Presiding Officer Bill Lindsay has reappointed Legislator Stern, D-16th District, to serve his eighth consecutive year as chairman of Suffolk County’s Veterans and Seniors Committee.
The Huntington legislator said, “It is my honor and privilege to serve as chairman of the Veterans and Seniors Committee, to work with and for our troops and their families, and to continue working closely with our Office for the Aging to better serve our seniors. It continues to be my great pleasure and I look forward to continuing my service to those who have helped build and protect our great nation.”
