Seminar to Explain New Healthcare Act

The Huntington Business Incubator is hosting a seminar Jan. 28  to help businesses and individuals understand how the federal Affordable Care Act works and applies to them. 

Entitled “Obamacare and You: Are You Eligible and How to Sign Up,”  the one-hour session will feature presentations by Dr. John Sardelis, associate chairman of health care management at St. Joseph’s College and founder of the SJC Center for Healthcare Outreach, Research and Education; and Janine Logan, director of communications for the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council and the Northern Metropolitan Hospital Association. St. Joseph’s College is partnering with the incubator on the session.

Attendees are invited to participate in a networking event at 5:30 p.m., with the presentation starting at 6:30 p.m., followed by a question and answer session. Admission is free, but an RSVP is required.
