How about more parking near the train station instead of more development???
G December 10, 2013 at 04:52 PM
By all means, let's (1) take away a big chunk of LIRR parking (2) make commuters compete even harder for remaining parking (3) allow this competition to be an excuse to retry the previously failed increase in parking fees to $600 (4) put a hotel smack in the middle of the barrio, because there's a lot of hotel business to be had there (5) offer hotel discounts to drug dealers and pimps when the demand doesn't materialize.

The LIRR is looking to acquire Nassau / Suffolk Lumber for a rail yard. Is this good for Huntington Station Station's revival...
