Decision Expected on McCusker Replacement

For the second straight month, Huntington Bay Mayor Herb Morrow is expected to announce decision on replacement for ill Village Board member.

Mayor Herb Morrow is expected to name a replacement for Village Board Trustee John McCusker at a Village Hall meeting Monday.

McCusker, who has missed every meeting since being reelected earlier in the year, resigned his position in August due to a "significant" illness.

Morrow has yet to publicly name a replacement for McCusker after announcing in August he would do so at the September meeting.

At a regular Board of Trustees meeting Aug. 15, Morrow said he received a call earlier in the day regarding McCusker's decision to resign.
