Woman Wanted in Gas Station Holdup

Robber fired at Gulf station employee; $5,000 reward offered.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Second Squad detectives are looking for a woman who fired a gun at an employee when she robbed the Gulf gas station o New Year's Eve.

A woman entered the Gulf station at 253 Broadway, at 7 p.m., pulled a handgun, fired a shot at the gas attendant, and stole cash. The attendant was not injured.

The thief is described as a light-skinned black female, about 5 feet tall, skinny, large dark eyes, in her late 20s to early 30s. She was wearing all dark clothing which included a baseball cap, hooded sweatshirt and jacket, tight jeans and white sneakers.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
