Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the person who stole merchandise from the Coach Store in South Huntington.
On May 28,, a woman entered the Coach Store located at 160 Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington, and took two handbags from the display tables. She placed them into a large white shopping bag that she was carrying and exited the store without paying for the merchandise. The handbags were worth approximately $1,400.00.
The woman is approximately 40 years old and has brown hair. She was wearing dark-colored shorts and a multi-colored striped shirt.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
