Woman Sought in Shoe Store Theft

Police say three pairs of boots were stolen from DSW.

Crime Stoppers and the Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the person that stole three pairs of Ugg boots from a DSW shoe store.

Police said that on Aug. 10, an unknown black female, approximately 25 years old, with black shirt and white jeans  went to DSW at 1819 E. Jericho Turnpike in Dix Hills.  The woman removed the boots, valued at $300, from the store without paying for it.

She then ran out of the store and left in an unknown brown/gray SUV vehicle.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential.
