Trailer Burns In Driveway of Home
Owner discovers trailer burning after turning on propane gas appliance and going inside home.
After turning on a gas appliance inside a recreational trailer parked in his driveway, a Huntington resident discovered the trailer burning minutes later.
Before leaving the trailer and going inside his home on Manor Place, the owner said he turned on a propane gas refrigerator inside the trailer for about 10 minutes. After noticing flames coming up on the side of his house, he said he ran down stairs and pulled the trailer into the street away from the house after it became a fully engulfed fire.
Huntington Manor Fire Department personnel responded to the scene at about 1:30 p.m.
