Suffolk Police Report: Cursing at the Precinct; Burglary

Second precinct arrests, Jan. 21-27

The following was taken from the Suffolk Police crime blotter. An arrest does not indicate a conviction as all persons are presumed innocent until, and if, proven guilty in a court of law.

  • Jeremy Cox, 33, of Greenlawn, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, obscene language or gestures, after he allegedly walked into the second precinct in Huntington and started yelling and cursing at everyone there. He was arrested after he was asked to leave and would not comply.
  • Samuel Kouwenhoven, 19, of East Northport, was arrested on Main Street and Norwood Avenue and charged with second degree burglary of a dwelling after he allegedly entered a home on Daywood court, broke the rear window with brick, and stole cash from victim's bedroom.
