Police Seek Help in Identifying Huntington Burglar

Suffolk County police seek the public’s help identifying and locating the man who burglarized a deli in Huntington in June.

Police say a man smashed the front door glass of Critic’s Choice Delicatessen, located at 1153A Jericho Turnpike on June 4 at approximately 11:10 p.m. Once inside, the man stole money from the cash registers.

A witness saw the man fleeing in a dark colored Nissan Murano with one black rim on the front passenger side, possibly a spare tire. The suspect headed south on Deer Park Avenue from Jericho Turnpike, police said.

The suspect is described as male, heavyset, balding, with a goatee. 

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
