Update: Police Respond to Stuyvesant Street Assault

Suffolk Police close Huntington street Wednesday while investigating an assault.

Suffolk County Police are investigating a home invasion Wednesday on Stuyvesant Street in Huntington.

Police received a call at 12:46 p.m. about two masked men entering a home on Stuyvesant Street.

One of the masked men hit a 30-year-old male in the head with a gun, police said. He was taken to Huntington Hospital with cuts on his head.

Another male victim was inside the home at the time but not injured.

Police declined to say whether shots were fired. No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.
