Police: Fatal Stabbing in Huntington Station

Police received a 911 call at 9:38 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.

A man was stabbed to death in Huntington Station Saturday night, authorities said. 

Suffolk County police say that at 9:38 p.m. officers responded a 911 call that a 38-year-old man had been stabbed behind 14-19 New York Avenue in Huntington Station. Police arrived to find Luis Ramos-Rodriguez lying on the ground with a stab wound.

Ramos-Rodriguez, of Huntington Station, was taken by Huntington Community First Aid Squad to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation is continuing and an autopsy will be conducted by the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
