Man Wanted in Assault on Biker

Huntington Station victim was riding bike on New York Avenue.

Suffolk police are seeking a man who who assaulted a bike rider  in Huntington Station.

 A Huntington Station man was riding his bicycle on New York Avenue on March 16 when the attacker assaulted him in front of Huntington Public Library,  at 1335 New York Ave., at 4:20 a.m.

The victim, 31, fell and hit his head and was transported to Huntington Hospital where he received stitches.

 The attacker is described as light-skinned black or Hispanic, between 20 and 30 years old with black hair. He was wearing a light-colored vest and tan pants.
 
 Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest
