Man Due in Court in School Surveillance Case

Police say contractor made video recordings in Countrywood faculty bathroom.

A Glen Head man accused of taking iPhone video recordings in a South Huntington school bathroom is due in court July 10.

Kevin Clancy, 31, of 10-A Glenn Ave., an IT technician working as a contractor at Countrywood Primary Center in South Huntington, was charged with second-degree unlawful surveilance, a felony.

Suffolk County police said that, after a lengthy investigation, Clancy was arrested April 25 and accused of taking recordings in a faculty bathroom at the elementary school.

Clancy's last court appearance was June 21. The case is in Suffolk First District Court.

I wonder if the district will change IT companies. Some will say that one person does not make the whole company bad, which in of itself, is true, I do believe we have to send a strong message out there. We have used this company for years. There should be no second chances when it comes to this type of behavior.
