Huntington Station TD Bank Robbed

Bank on Jericho Turnpike was robbed Wednesday afternoon, police say.

Police are searching for a man they say robbed a TD Bank in Huntington Station Wednesday. 

Police say the man entered the bank, located at 1040 E. Jericho Turnpike, and displayed a threatening note demanding cash from a teller at 3:20 p.m. The teller complied and gave the man cash from the drawer, police said. The suspect fled on foot southbound on Dix Hills Road.

The robber is described as a light-skinned white male, approximately 25 years old, 5-foot-6 with a medium build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white baseball cap, dark sunglasses and black gloves at the time of the robbery.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
