Huntington Hospital to Dispose of Medications

Hospital, police will accept old or unwanted medicines.

Residents looking to get rid of old or unwanted medications can drop them off Saturday at and the stationhouse.

The safe-disposal program is meant to prevent accidental overdose or misuse of prescription or over-the-counter medications.

The local project is part of the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Hours are between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
