Firefighters extinguished a blaze Thursday night that gutted a home on East 21st Street in Huntington Station.
Authorities said only minor injuries were reported, with crews from the Huntington Community First Aid Squad transporting an 84-year-old woman to Huntington Hospital as a precaution.
Dozens of firefighters from , Melville and departments fought the blaze, which was reported about 8 p.m.
