Driver Killed in Park Avenue Crash
Update: Greenlawn woman killed when car strikes tree.
A woman driving a car on Park Avenue was killed when her car struck a tree early Sunday morning.
Suffolk County police said Angela Kulewicz, 22, was driving a 2007 Honda south on Park Avenue when she attempted to make a left turn onto Croley Street and lost control of the vehicle, police said. She struck the tree and a fence about 4:35 a.m.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Parts of the hollowed-out tree were tossed onto both sides of Croley Street.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Second Squad at 631-852-8252.
