Cops Say 2 Men Are Wanted for Grand Larceny

Suffolk County Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and finding two men they say stole jewelry from a Melville store. 

According to police on April 14, 2014, two men entered Whitman Jewelry and Coins, located at 552 Walt Whitman Road, removed a gold link chain with an oval sapphire pendant and left the store without paying for it. 

The men fled the store in an older model white van with roof racks on top, police said.

The two are wanted for grand larceny, police said. 

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
