Police: DWI charge for man who damaged eight cars and two signs on Clinton Ave. early Saturday.

Eight vehicles were damaged in the Town of Huntington municipal parking lot on Clinton Ave. early Saturday after a drunk driver lost control of his SUV, Suffolk County Police said.

James Miller, 23, of Platt Place, Huntington, was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI as well as issued a summons for driving without a license.

Police said Miller was driving a 2004 Land Rover SUV in the Town of Huntington municipal parking lot when he lost control and struck two parking signs and eight unoccupied vehicles, causing damage to several of them at 12:35 a.m.

No one was injured.

Miller will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Central Islip.
