Officer Hurt After Crashing Cruiser
For the third time in nine days, Second Precinct patrol car involved in accident.
For the third time in nine days, a police vehicle from Suffolk County's Second Precinct has been involved in a crash.
The most recent accident occured Tuesday at 12:05 p.m. on Soundview Road near Willow Avenue in Huntington where the patrol car took down a road sign before slamming into a utility pole.
One officer was taken to Huntington Hospital with unkown injuries, according to emergency responders at the scene.
