Suffolk police canceled a silver alert Wednesday afternoon for John Wilson Sr., a Melville man with Alzheimer's who was reported missing last week.
The alert was issued Dec. 26 for Wilson, who had last been seen on Dec. 24.
Police provided no further information beyond reporting that he had been found.
