Minor Accident Forces Partial Road Closure Saturday

Portion of northbound lane of West Hills Road temporarily closed to traffic due to collision.

A two-vehicle accident forced the temporary closure of part of West Hills Road in South Huntington Saturday.

A Mitsubishi sedan, traveling northbound, collided with a Ford pickup truck which was apparently turning into a shopping center parking lot.

No injuries were reported by police who closed the northbound lane of West Hills Road to traffic at about 11:25 a.m. from the intersection of Jericho Turnpike to the entrance of the Harbor Freight Tools store.
