Four people were arrested overnight at a sobriety checkpoint in Huntington Station, Suffolk County police said Sunday morning.
Officers from the First, Second, and Third Precinct officers, assisted by officers from the Highway Patrol, set up the checkpoint on Route 110 and Church Street.
Arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated were:
• Peter Macaluso, 32, of Huntington
• Jack Pierson, 33, Deer Park
• John Larongo, 21, of Huntington Station
• Janelly Botina, 34, of Bay Shore
A total of 186 vehicles went through the checkpoint.
They will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip Sunday.
