Three people were arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated at a sobriety checkpoint in Huntington Station early Friday morning.
Arrested were:
- Jonathan Rovet, 25, of 28 Lieper St., Huntington Station
- Daniel Ragone, 26, of 179 Cayuga Ave., Deer Park
- William Jenkins, 34, of 39 Lantern St., Huntington
Suffolk County Second Precinct officers, along with officers from the First Precinct, Third Precinct and Highway Patrol SAFE-T Section, conducted the checkpoint on New York Avenue and Church Street between 12:45 a.m. and 3 a.m.
Police sad 71 vehicles went through the checkpoint.
The three men were scheduled for arraignment Friday in First District Court in Central Islip.
