2 Vehicles Collide on East Jericho Turnpike

2 taken to hospital after Huntington Station crash.

Two people were taken to Huntington Hospital after their cars collided on East Jericho Turnpike Wednesday night.

Huntington Community First Aid Squad spokeswoman Andrea Golinsky said that a womain in one car suffered minor injuries, and a woman in the second car complained of chest pains. A third individual refused treatment at the scene.

Suffolk County poice were on the scene of the accident, which occurred in front of the OK Petroleum service station, just west of the intersection with Dix Hills Road and Broadway Greenlawn.

Car meet car, do we know what happened to cause this accident? Sorry that this had to happen. Most but no all accidents are avoidable. Road looks dry, so it's not slippery road so we can rule that out.

These accidents happen because PPL have no consideration for others on the road..Speeding, cutting others off, tailgating, ppl pulling out an not paying attention cuz they r too busy texting n talking on their phones an no one knows how to signal anymore, they just slammed on their brakes n then turn...I avoid Jericho at all costs..
