A funeral service is scheduled Saturday for Angela Marie Di Spirito, who died Thursday. She was 94.
A grandson, Assemb. Chad Lupinacci, said, "“My grandmother is an inspirational light in my life,” said Lupinacci. “A lifelong resident of Huntington and beloved by all who knew her, she was a devoted attendee of St. Hugh of Lincoln Church and took tremendous pleasure watching her many children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. I will miss her deeply and her loss will be felt by all who were fortunate enough to have her in their lives.”
She graduated from Huntington High School and married Joseph Di Spirito in 1943.
She leaves four children, Edward Di Spirito; Dr. Dolores Kenny of Darien, Conn., Susan Lupinacci of Huntington Station, and Constance Di Spirito of Huntington Station. She was also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in 1997.
Visitation is set for Friday night, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the MA Connell Funeral Home at 934 New York Ave., in Huntington Station. A Mass of Christian burial will be said at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Hugh of Lincoln Roman Catholic Church, 21 E. Ninth St., Huntington Station with the Rev. Msgr. Joseph Granata and Rev. Francis X Gaeta officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Huntington.
