The Huntington High School football team seeks to cap off a magical season when it takes the field to play Lawrence for the Long Island Class III championship on Saturday at 12 noon at Stony Brook University's LaValle Stadium. Admission is $6.

Huntington is led by quarterback Ben Kocis, running backs Troy Greene and Lavar Butts and wide receiver Christian Jamison. Coached by Steve Muller, the Blue Devils are making their third appearance in the LI championship game, having lost in 2003 and won in 2005.

A crowd of more than 3,000 is expected to be in the stands for the game.
