Memorial Day Weekend Fundraiser, Ball Games

There will be a fundraiser for Building Homes for Huntington Heroes on Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park, the corner of
Pulaski/Cuba Hill/Broadway in Greenlawn before a series of Huntington Tri-Village Little League games and an evening concert.

Lt. James Byler and his family will be picked up Saturday morning and escorted by the Suffolk County Police, 2nd precinct, to the ball field.

Byler and his family will be greeted by 150 people with American flags, a group will sing 'God Bless America,' Byler's pastor will do the opening prayer and there will be speeches.

There will be hundreds of raffles donated by vendors throughout the town of Huntington to raise money for Building Homes For Huntington Heroes.

The band, Root Revealators, will play later in the day in honor of Memorial Day weekend, from 7 to 10 p.m.

Games are scheduled for noon (3A), 3 p.m. (minor division) and 6 p.m. (major division).  Greenlawn Memorial Park
