In the early 1960’s, there was such an abundance of British rock groups having success with their music in the United States that music critics coined the phrase “The British Invasion.” This period in rock was so rich that countless deserving hits were left out of our first British Invasion show. Join us for an all-new event celebrating the amazing British music groups that continue to inspire us.
The Troggs with “Wild Thing,” Traffic with “John Barleycorn” and “Dear Mr. Fantasy,” The Silkie with “You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away,” The Yardbirds with “Over, Under, Sideways, Down” and “I’m a Man,” Manfred Mann with “The Mighty Quinn,” Yes with “I’ve Seen All Good People,” Jethro Tull with “The Witch’s Promise,” The Zombies with “Time of the Season,” T-Rex with “Bang a Gong,” and Donovan with “Hurdy Gurdy Man” will be just some of the legendary highlights of this spectacular evening.
