mEET tHE cANDIDATES nIGHT

The LWV of Huntington is co-sponsoring a Meet The Candidates Night for those candidates running for the 13th, 17th, and 18th Suffolk County Leg. Districts.  Steve Stern is running unopposed in the 16th District.  LWV policy is that we do nto have candidates debate an empty chair.  The format of this debate is the same as the one we sponsored on Oct. 21 for Huntington town candiates. (The Huntington Patch did an excellent job covering and reporting on that debate)  Information of the Suffolk County resolution and the 6 NYS proposals which will be on this year's ballot will be distributed at this meeting.  Now is your opportunity to be an informed and educated voter.  If you do not know which leg. district you are in, go to Vote 411 .org and put in your address.  You will not only get an opportunity to see your ballot, but will be able to learn about the candidates
