Cardiovascular Screening and Wellness Workshop

Please join us at Atria Huntington Senior Living for a Cardiovascular Screening and Wellness Workshop.

Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics will be conducting non-invasive tests with their state-of-the-art equipment under the supervision of their Director, Dr. Perry Frankel, cardiologist and lipidologist from St. Francis Heart Hospital and North Shore/LIJ Health Systems. 

The following screenings will be offered: Carotid Artery Doppler to detect plaque and stroke risk; Abdominal Aorta Ultrasound to detect risk for aneurysms and ruptures; Ankle Brachial Index Test for Peripheral Artery Disease to detect blockages in the leg arteries; and Vestibular Examination for inner ear disorders to test your risk of falls and imbalances. They accept most insurance plans, so please bring your insurance card to the event.

The Huntington YMCA will present a fall prevention workshop and discuss their wellness programs available to the community.
