A Conversation with Nobel Peace Laureate Jody Williams

An interactive discussion with Jody Williams, who was awarded the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize for her work to ban landmines internationally.  She is founding chair of the Nobel Women's Initiative which supports and promotes the work of women around the world.  A wine and cheese reception will follow and a book signing of her memoir:  My Name is Jody Williams: A Vermont Girl's Winding Path to the Nobel Peace Prize.  All proceeds will benefit What BETTER Looks Like, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.  Tickets are $10 through www.brownpapertickets.com or $15 at the door.  More info, www.whatbetterlookslike.org or norma@whatbetterlookslike.org or 646/248-9292.
