Commemoration at St. Hugh of Lincoln Church honors the civil rights leader.
Scores of people from the Huntington area gathered at St. Hugh of Lincoln Church Sunday night in an interfaith service to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and encourage people to emulate his deeds.
Choirs and speakers, representing groups as diverse as Muslims Against Hunger to Long Island Jobs with Justice and Mazon: A Jewish response to Hunger participated in the event. Watch video of the stirring event below.
