Disability Parking Permits Up for Renewal

Approximately 12,000 disability parking permits (blue hang-tags) expired Sept. 30 and are up for renewal with the Town Clerk's Office. Renewal applications were mailed in June and second reminders in August.

“The renewal process is quite detailed in order to assure that only individuals who are qualified for a renewed permit are issued one,” said Town Clerk Jo-Ann Raia. "For cost saving purposes, over 10,000 renewed permits were mailed Sept. 18 to residents who returned their renewal applications to her office." These new permits will expire Sept. 30, 2015.

Raia urged any resident who has not received their renewed permit by Oct. 1 to contact her office at 631-351-3206.
