Jan. 15: 5 Things You Need to Know Today

Oh, yay, something new, Huntington.

1. With temperatures expected to soar all the way to 33 today, the light snow the National Weather Service says we might get probably won't stick around very long. It could be a tease for slightly more snow next week.

2. Give us a W! For Win, that is. Cheerleaders from about a dozen schools will be competing at Whitman or Stimson, all day.

3.  Nope, no pressure here. The Harvard Club of Long Island will be interviewing Huntington students interested in attending the Ivy League school, today from 8:30-1 p.m.

4.Buddy Merriam & Back Roads will be performing at the South Huntington Public Library tonight at 7.
