Students from Hofstra University’s Political Science and Public Policy program recently joined Assemblymen Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) and Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square) for a real-world lesson in state government. The students were accompanied by Dr. Rosanna Perotti, the Chair of Hofstra’s Political Science Department.
“It was an honor to meet with this special group of young people and provide them the opportunity to see the Assembly in session,” said Lupinacci. “As a Hofstra University alum and adjunct professor, it gives me great pleasure to show students that with dedication and hard work, anything is possible. I know my colleagues provide a top-notch education, and providing the students with a chance to see state government up close simply drives home the lessons learned in the classroom. Again, it was a pleasure to meet these young students and I want to thank Dr. Perotti for providing me the opportunity to speak to them.”
